Well it looks to me that the red one sticks up above the rotor equally as far as the other? It has additional bolts that cross over the rotor to join the halves. It does look longer because there is additional casting by the outside bolts which makes it appear lower profile.

So, from the pics I would say no difference in clearance. Just my .02
