Ok I got the door to fit, went as far as laying it on a blanket and whacking it until the door matched the slight curve in the dash. I managed to get one spring in place, but have spent over half an hour trying to get the other one in and all I have managed to do is make a mess of the paint under the dash. What is the trick here?
