Been thinking on this one for a while. Don't have room on the running boards due to the tool boxes. Decided to mount it inside the bed on the cab end. I have this Star shaped tire holder off a M37 I cleaned up and was going to use it. I think I can now put it on the bed and mount the tire there off center to the passenger side leaving room for the ATV Winch. The 3/16" Steel end should give me enough strength to weld to. The lug nots are the same thread and I have a real big one to weld to the spacer to spin it into. Guess I need to put on my Carharts to lay on the ground and get to work on the running boards. The sun is not coming out and it is still wet outside!! Weather isn't going to get any better till spring.
