On the side of the angle iron I will run some 3/8" Grade 8 bolts thru the frame & angle iron to stop any movement if it flexes and to make sure the bed is not held on only by welds. Skip welding should help stop cracking of the welds later. At least that is what the welders at the machine shop told me.
