Had problems with the clutch pedal coming up to far. Wife just came back from town and told me it squeals when she pushes in the clutch but still shifts. Stops squealing when clutch is let out and no slip. Only 150,000 miles on the 5.7 Hemi 5-speed truck? This just ruined my day big time!! So is it time to pull the tranny and replace the clutch plate, disk, throw out bearing, clutch slave and cylinder plus the bushing in the flywheel? I bet this will cost a big chunk to have done?? Anyone pay to have this all done before? I am so happy with my Newer 2005 Dodge Ram now and glad that old 1979 Chevy 4x4 still runs great the last 7+ years I have owned it with no repairs. I will start driving it more while I deal with this problem. I am sure this won't be a easy or cheap fix? Not sure I can trust it to drive almost 350+ miles round trip to the Spokane VA Thursday for my MIR on my neck and brain.
