I had a friend who purchased a brand new truck that had a limited slip rear differential. He took it for the first dealer check up. The dealer changed the oil in the rear diff. A short time later the rear diff started acting up rather badly. Turns out that they used the wrong oil. He got a new rear diff installed at no cost plus a loaner truck while the work was being done.
