I used the fiber core on my M37 it is pretty flexible. The cable I bought this time is not really a solid steel core but another cable instead of a fiber core. Wrapping the drum is a task to do. I remember anchoring it to put it under some load for the wrap. I will get the cable during the week and let you know how flexible compared to fiber core. I still have a 20 ft section of the last cable I bought to make a basket with.
