Reaming Tie rod

I purchased a pair of tie rod ends for my wc 12. When I inserted them into the holes in the tie rod its clear that some tapered reaming is needed in order to get the ends to seat properly. Anyone done this procedure and what is the tool I need? Since I will likely never do this job again- i can't afford a big bucks tool.
