I do like those bell joints, they allow some give fore and aft.

It's tilt column. And I can adjust for length after install, though not when behind the wheel. The OE column has a good ignition switch, blinkers, flashers, and a dependable horn contact. IIRC, $40 at the pull-ur-own, plus a new key cylinder. Then cut it down, and gut the auto shifter out.
