Carb issue with a 1954 M-37

I am looking for a little advice on a carburetor issue with my M-37 Power Wagon. I recently installed a new exhaust now I have gas leaking out of the Carburetor and it wont stay running, I installed a completely rebuilt Carter DT E2 Ball and Ball and im still having the same issue. Looking for suggestions. Thank you
