It was recently brought to my attention that servo brakes tend to pull a lot more to one side of the vehicle or the other, whenever the brakes on the opposite side get wet or muddy. The non-servo type (like those in our flatfender PW's and W300's) apparently do not suffer from this problem nearly as much. I guess this could be one reason Dodge kept them that way for so long after servo brakes were available.
Sometimes newer/fancier/more complicated isn't always better.
