I took a trip east of the mountains this weekend Levenworth, Ellensburg, Cle Elum and a lot of little places in between. We had a great dinner at a resturant in Cle Elum that Jonas showed several of us. Jonas my wife liked it. Jonas sorry we did not stop by but I thought you were at work. I have called you at work several times this weekend and no one answered. You must have had some calls. I got through this morning and will come over Tuesday and pick up the rest of the winch.
Found a couple of interesting things.
1) A school bus (Unfortunately a Chev) It had the short body and looks just like a couple of the PW buses. I immediatly thought of a transplant onto a PW. The body had been fully restored and had an excellent paint job. Class A work. THe drive train must have been redone. It was doing close to 70 MPH. Nice bus.
2) WC53. Yea I found another 3/4 ton carryall. It looked like a possible. I did not get right up to it something about a no Tresspassing sign and the owner was not home. It looked straight from a distance, the hood and side pannels were off and the engine was out. The carryall is not visable from a road but another truck was and that took me back wher the carryall was. I will go and see the owner soon.
3) We were actually out looking for a Willys station wagon body. We went to look at one that Jonas told us about it is a possible source for a roof that I need. We also found one other Station wagon and several pickups. Two pickups were in great shape. We also found several late 50's D 100 PU and a D Townie. We saw several IHC Scouts from the 60's. Some were in great shape.
