The WM300 uses a pto with front and rear output shafts plus it is reversable.
The tractor pto pump os a good idea for the slitter, rams, but if its a factory lift unit
personally I'd just keep the 12VDC pump that comes with it.
As for air needed to run a large impact and other such tools, I'd consider mounting a compressor under the bed ,driven by the pto using a 12VDC clutch to activate the compressor only when needed as with the airconditioning compressor. Without a tank for volume,most afford able 2-stage compressors won't put out enough CFMs to run large tools.
I own an older moble compressor with dead engine(4cyl. gas).It is of the blower type used to power jack hammers. I have wanted to try mounting that compressor under the bed powered by the pto for all the air and pressure I'd ever need and it would be moble.
