That figure for a W300 is hard to believe. Unless he means gross weight. OK, there's a heavier engine and trans but that would account for an extra 1200 lbs or so? 1500? The truck probably weighed less than 7000 with original parts, no?

I will try to find the time to weight the monster and let you know. So far, I just read the figures off the data plate.
