I agree with everthing AAA said, with a small addition from my experience. I have a 1970 413 4bbl from a motor home (paid $400) in my W300. It has a six bolt crank (seems to be the setup for auto trans, though I was able to find a big block six bolt flywheel for it) I'm not sure the balance of the assembly is good though. It was bored for a pilot bushing, but I used the truck setup with a ball bearing in the flywheel, since my NP40 trans was setup for it. It also has standard big block timing chain. If you put it in a W300 with PTO winch, you have to play some tricks with the oil filter position to clear the PTO shaft. Sucks gas, but real gutsy. Rob
