W300 disc brake kit fit big knuckle 44?

If the knuckles on the ends of the big knuckle Dana 44 front axle are the same size as on the Dana 70, couldn't a fella use your disc brake kit for the Dana 70 front axle on a large knucle Dana 44F if and when your W300 disc brake kit goes into production? Or by "rim", are you refering to a rim other than the wheel rim?
