My {wife's} firetruck's model # is a WF-A32. In all of the service and parts manuals there is no WF-A32, only WF-32, could the A stand for ARMY issue? There are some clashes in the stories of the history of the truck. It was supposed to be a '42 from the army that was purchased in '48 by the first town it served. On the other hand the firetruck mfg. co's delivery book shows that it was delivered in Jan '46. But the truck chassis was owned by the town and was provided to the mfr. So... could it be an army surplus chassis that the town aquired and sent to the mfr???
What was the contact to Chrysler of build sheets again?
Thanks
Lew
