The black POR applied very easy with a brush and left no brush marks..... found the paint very runny...liquid......and you would need a second or third coat to do a really good job.

Forget cleaning the brush... use foam or disposable brushes. I have used it on every thing but the PW frame I got it for. So far results have been fantastic... and a little goes a long long way..... usually pour half a cup in a plastic cup and seal the can immediately..... Oh and sealing the can is a bitch. Instructions say to put a layer of cellophane rap between lid and can or lid will permanently glue to can. Well the can sides are very soft and a little hammering... and I mean little... will crush and render the can useless. I have opted to make use of my vast selection of old Mayo or jam glass jar with a cellophane and screw lid. Once I could not remove the lid so I punche a hole took what I needed and transferred the rest to a smaller jar with very little air space.

In the future I would consider buying the POR in smaller cans to insure fresh paint.

I have painted steel outboard motor stands and even the parts where the clamps screw on to hold the motor has not scratched yet... also painted a cast iron water pump as a mailbox stand... exposed to road salt... top coated the POR while tacky with red Tremclad... red is fading but after two years by the road side it is still perfect.

Maybe I will get around to using it on the PW one of these days.
