The only acceptable way to do 'restoration' is to weld in steel patches: grind out holes, cut patches to fit, weld both sides,grind welds to flush, fill no more than 1/16 thick. If it didn't come with fiberglass parts, it's not "restored" if it's got fiberglass parts. Anything else is just putty over the rot.Carry a magnet when shopping for "restored" vehicles.
