why they did it is beyond me--seems they felt it needed reinforcement--maybe when i tear it apart i will see why--i have pondered making a knuckle steering arm that bolts to the knuckle flange where the two haves bolt together so all the force is from the center not on top but by the same token stock steering pivots from the top steering arm and the knuckle flange thru the tir rod
why they went to all that trouble to reinforce the steering and did not bother to line up or match the two halves is also beyond
