Spent the day at Bob Stahl's trying to get a WC-63 running. Hadn't run in 15 years. We got it to turn over but only compression on two cylinders. Unstuck all the caves with Marvel Mystery Oil and by tapping them down with a modified Allen wrench. Filed the points and checked for spark. Fresh gas and a pull with the tractor after running the battery down and it started right up. No smoke once the oil burned off. Yard drive it in first gear and hand brake only. Plugged vacuum leak at wiper tube. It will now idle great but has a flat spot just off idle and stalls out. Recharging the battery tonight and will troubleshoot the carb and ignition in the morning before heading for Lee. Saw Dave Hibberd headed that way with an M-37 and the W-500 wrecker in tow. Either that, or he was headed to the Taylor Swift concert in Foxborough!
