OK new 1.25" Master Cylinder, lines, brake lining, turned drums, wheel cylinders, copper crush washers, flex lines all new and NO Leaks now. I can get a pedal by jabbing the pedal quick short 1 inch+ strokes and it goes firm. I can hold it there as long as I want. Soon as I let off it looses the pedal and I have to jab it again. I can hear movement in the drums working the brakes but it is not seeming to hold the 10 lb back pressure?? I put 2- 10 lb residual drum brake pressure valves in. Arrow points away from the master cylinder indicating flow in other ones. These are cheap Red Ebay no/name ones do you think both could be bad? Came with out instructions but had the arrow for flow direction. I used a Hand Vacuum System to bleed the brakes with. Ran at least 2+ full quarts thru plus what is in it. I adjusted the brakes as close as I could they touch a little. I held them on in low range and when I pulled the drums I could see they were working. Still could use more breaking in. Just can't keep a firm pedal for some reason. I hate pulling the valves out to check them. Could I just pump up the brakes let off the pedal walk over and open the bleeder valve and it would come out at 10 PSI squirt? I could put a gauge on one and pump it up a little and see if they hold when I stop pumping at 10 psi. You guys got any better ideas I am stuck and open for any.
