I've had the pleasure of driving this truck. It has got to be the most no-nonsense pickup truck ever constructed. It is modest and bad-ass at the same time. This truck's brawn comes from real steel and a drivetrain that is both elegant and seething with power.
Paul completed this truck building on the experience of my '84 crewcab conversion, and the 4bt Wagoneer, and the 6bt Ramcharger conversions that he built previously. Paul built the trucks that Dodge should have, but never did. Contrasting the 4bt conversion with these bolt-in 6bt Dodge improvements, there is just no substitute for factory engineering and simplicity. If you're into Power Wagons, but you want a diesel; the perfect compromise is to leave the flathead in your flatfender and tow it to the trail or show with this W200. You'll enjoy both trucks more optimally, and you'll save money and headaches in the long run.
This is all coming from the guy that bought the two previous diesel conversions that Paul built. The Ramcharger seduced me from the moment I turned the key. I've gotten nothing but enjoyment and pride from driving the trucks that Paul built.
