Hi all,
I have two sets of 1/2 WC front leaf springs which are fairly flat when loaded, but have some arch when unloaded. I was thinking about adding leaves from one pack into the other to hopefully bring some of the shape back. If I were to do this, which leaves would be the best to transplant - the short, middle or long ones? Or should I transplant based on amount of unloaded arch?
Also, I assume that I would trim the donated spring so that it doesn't overlap (or equal) the spring above it in the pack?
I couldn't find anything in the archives relative to this. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
don
