It's certainly possible to have a vintage Power Wagon as a daily driver - for a while my '47 Packard limousine was my daily driver - but it would be far easier if you lived in a small town and only had to drive a few miles at a time, on low-speed, secondary roads, if you have to drive on-road at all.
These trucks are essentially very simple, as compared to a modern car - easy-to-reach flathead six cylinder motor, manual transmission, and no emission equipment. And, of course, no computers.
Perhaps you could find a nice old mining claim a few miles from, say, Yerington, Nevada, and drive into town on Saturdays for supplies. As I recall, there's a pretty good Italian restaurant in Yerington...
