With Joe listing his truck that started all this it got me to thinking back. I wonder how many who were on forum 1 are still looking here after all these years? I was a lurker for a while and I guess I got on the internet about the time Joe first started all this as I finally posted midway through forum 1.
Interesting as that first forum lasted almost 1 full year! Not anymore.
With that said, I hope you know Joe, how many lives you have touched, friendships you have brought together and the knowledge that has been passed. This all has resulted in a lot of trucks being saved, restored, and redone.
I would personally like to let you know how much I appreciate all the time and effort you have put into this over the years and for Phil hosting all of the "proof" of it.
Maybe Vintage will buy your truck and hold it for you if you ever want it back. With the amount of business you have sent their way, who knows. One of the few legacy trucks in my mind.
Time does move on and the recent loss of Gordon hit us all hard. Matt stepping in and keeping that aspect of the hobby going is another testament to how we all love these old trucks. Such an wide mix of views and we all come together to share that fondness of them. Thanks to ALL of you guys for making that possible.
