On a recent Honda engine that was rebuilt at the local machine shop the wrist pins are pressed out with a hydraulic press and a special jig made by Sunnen. To re-install the wrist pins requires heating the connecting rod up and tooling to make sure you get it centered. It is easier than it sounds, and doing it without the specialty equipment could create a lot of drama for you.
