Headlight &panel switch on a 54 VPW

I'm a newby, so please forgive me.
Rewiring complete a 54 VPW I just procured.
The headlight switch has four posts (two left and two right with what looks like a relay coming off the back with two posts. The right front post goes to another switch that controls the dash lamps.
I'm assuming this is correct, since this is a very original "patina" truck. Question who can tell me what all the posts are for? There are no labels whatsoever. The new wiring harness instructs me to go to "terminal R" etc.
