I have a 1941 dodge WC-26 and the tank was cancered out at the top. I got a tank off a 1941 dodge Ambulance and it was cancered out at the bottom. So I took both tanks to a shop in Birmingham Alabama and they put both halves together. It cost $250.00. What a deal. Good luck
