I bought a "new" one from a well known PW supplier, and it turned out to be a Chinese repro and did not have the right resistance for the Dodge trucks, even though it was sold as such. I had to send it in to a gauge shop to be worked
on, and what they ended up doing is fixing my original.
My point is don't assume any repro you buy, even if new, will be good. Consider Getting an original one off eBay fixed by a shop like the john wolf company in Ohio.
It was not expensive - they do it all the time it turns out.
