All I could drill in the shop was a couple holes in the backing plates. Some holes were thru 5 sections of steel doing the cross member. I am trying to use only existing holes in the frame. So now the two frames will have 24 - 1/2" NF 1/2" Grade 8 Frame Bolts holding it together plus the origin weld. I can mount the bed next to the cab on this mount. I won't use the smaller plates on the rear. Stared at the frame a long time drilling holes today. I have 6- 1/2" even spaced holes in the top of the frame rails I can use. So I can mount my bed cross members to these with spacers & bushings.
