My brother slid off the road with a trailer once and the tow truck driver used wheel chocks with spikes that dug into the asphalt. Probably a 10000# truck easily pulled a 15,000#+ truck and trailer that was down a hill and buried in mud. Wouldnt surprise me too much to find that a 20,000# truck on asphalt with similiar chocks could pull handle a winch pull of 40k-50k. Probably not 100k though. One handy feature with an m37 is you can back to a tree wrap a tree saver and attach to the pintle hook and proceed to pull the winch apart if you want to.
