I didn't think flywheels were specific to small block, big block or poly. Meaning if a flywheel is the proper balance for the given crankshaft & is proper diameter for a particular bell, it doesn't "know" what block the crank is in. I have used a 318 flywheel behind a 440, worked perfectly.
