The cache only holds so much data, and then older data "falls off the end". If you set the cache too small, or if you are looking at a lot of other web pages that load up the cache with big stuff, your cached PW Forum content might be getting dumped.
Check "Tools|Options|Advanced|Network|Cached web content" and see if you somehow got the cache size set to something small (mine defaults to 350 MB) Even if it's set to "automatic", if your hard drive is nearly full, it will reduce the size of the cache to something smaller, which might mean old content gets dumped sooner. If that's the case, dump the "trash" on your hard drive, and if that's not enough, search the disk for really big files and dump the ones you don't need any more (like maybe movies you downloaded long ago).
