I saw a Wrecker Truck break his cable pulling a dozer out. When the cable cut loose it traveled around 150 ft hit the wrecker and the broken hook smashed in to the truck. I was only 50 ft away watching this when it happen. No way will I get up stream or down stream from a winch cable in use!
