so yes there is a shorter fan hub

the problem now is the harmonic balancer being too close to the fan

the fan is low enuff on the 3500 to barely fit under my wc hood but there is not much room to move the fan back before it hits the harmonic balance

seems there should be a crank pulley like the one on the 4bt but solid metal and not drilled and recessed in to the bolt holes for more weight for more weight and balancing purposes
