Gas Gauge Match Up to Tank?

Swapped out a 3 wire unit to the 1 wire fuel gauge. Now my Tank one was bad!! Trying to figure the OHM Value of the 1 wire PW sending unit. I have one that goes from 4 ohm to 78 ohm full swing of the float that will fit the tank. The Gauge I just put in this Dash Bracket is a Dodge Truck 1954 12V or at least read that? The number on the gauge is 26716 and on the original box; Mopar PT NO 1546 117 Fuel Gauge. Hoping to match it up to my single wire tank sending unit. I will post a picture of the back of the gauge.
