I found that a weed-burner wand on a 5 gal propane tank works the best. The wings instantly incinerate and they drop to the ground. Of course, I only did this outside in a place where fire was not an issue. Had garden hose standing by just in case. I would not reccomend this for the interior of a pw. :-)
