In Central, CA you don't need doors 9 mo out of the year. At 100+ for days on a row the last thing you want do is sit stationary in a hot confined cab. Say nothing about fighting back & forth with the door while making throttle, pto and pump adjustments. The lack of doors makes a jump "off the high side" much more plausable it things are going over for the worse.
The open cab I recently aquired has snaps for a shade canopy, which will be welcome around here.
