According to my new Advance Adapters NV4500 guidebook, the 2WD Dodge NV4500 tailhousing is 13" long, so the overall length is >25". OTOH the GM 2WD version looks much shorter. You could get the GM tailhousing but you'd need the applicable mainshaft as well.
Advance does not make a plate adapter to adapt a dodge 4500 to an earlier Dodge bellhousing, you definitely will need the proper bellhousing. However, as mentioned, the 360 4500s had a 1-1/8" input shaft with a 1.433" snout diameter. If you use the 1-1/4" shaft you have you might have some problems finding a throwout bearing.
You REALLY should call Advance Adapters. I just got this guidebook today, it takes time for me to download 40 pages of transmission trivia into my memory banks.
