I visited with the commander of our S&R Unit, he added that the transmission was that of an older OLIVER tractor that somehow hard a intrigal high-low, with 3 forward and a reverse. Parts for the OLIVER trans were non-existant and don't ask how they married up the VW engine to the Oliver trans. Tom
