According to the previous owner it's a Herkins engine. He had it rebuilt about 15-20 yrs ago. Before he had it rebuilt he looked around for a replacement engine only to find one other one in Pa. I'll check with my dad again this weekend about it's spelling. He could have misunderstood the previous owner.
