tinkering:
cleaned and regapped the points
bypassed the rotten gas tank with a 1 gallon
that fits nicely next to the radiator
replaced the badly leaking carb with the one from my running junker 61 W500
And have spent a little time:
Scrubbing off the mold from it sitting under a tree. Removed the cowl grating and cleaned out about a 5 gal bucket full of decayed leaves.
The truck is looking better every day, and its purpose will be to remain unrestored, but mechanically sound, a "user" truck (don't want to say beater)
