First of all, I do have front AND rear seat belts.

My Townie is currently setting with about 3 inches of lift and I don't know if any code covers bumper height in California. I do not know if they would bust my chops over that but I do know that they don't look like the laughing type. While my son was taking his permit test, I was watching the line of vehicles waiting for the driving test. Only one vehicle was an older model and it was unwashed and had dirty windows. The lady inspector let them wait for an hour before telling them that their tread depth was insuffcinet and to come back after the tires were replaced. They wouldn't even get in the car. I'm afraid that after they waddle out to the truck (with high heels on no less) and look at the height that they would have to hoist their porcine figures into, they will find SOMETHING to fail the truck or the driver. I'm not above having a good laugh, but I don't want a fix it ticket either. I'm going to reccomend to my son to use another smaller vehicle and save the laughs for later.
Thanks for the input
Lonnie
PS - If anyone DOES have the California code on vehicle height, please let me know.
