I spent this past week-end at Pat and Wanda's looking over their preparations for the Tailgate Party next month. There are some challenging new trails that will definitely make you get out and lock your hubs, as well as some more loops of moderate to easy driving. There's something for everyone.
Brownwood is in the middle of Texas which is in the middle of the "48" so this event is close to everyone (by Texas measurements, that is). Some of you who are still shivering from the Colorado trip can come and get warm. Some of you who are being washed away by tropical storm "Barry" can come get dry.
If you are just getting into Power Wagons, come check ours out, grab a ride, and maybe even get a little "wheel" time. Also, it's a good place to connect with folks with trucks and parts for sale. Check the Texas Power Wagon Journal for more details.
