Fair price for 3/4 ton axels

I'm looking to buy a set of 3/4 ton axels for a command car. A guy has a set with good mud tires, the rims and brakes look pretty good also, the lug nuts actually came off, which I hear can be a rare thing. The ratio is 5.83. They were replaced by a set with 4.89 and disk brakes. I know fair is very subjective, but since I am just starting to buy parts, I was wondering what an average prive would be.
