Dana 60 ?

I am about to put brake shoes on my Dana60HD rear end on my 1974 Dodge. Anyone know what size the nut is that holds the hub on? I was told a regular deep well socket is too thick to get in there and turn the nut. I have a FSM and it says to use tool DD-1245 to remove the hub nut. No one in town can cross reference this or order this tool. If I knew what size a nut it was I maybe could order a special thin socket from the MAC or Snap-on truck dude. Any ideas?
