1959 W-100 Townie (4 beam headlights)
Last night, my wife and I went to Hermosa Beach to enjoy the sunset. Well after dark, we decided to come home. I was not able to get the headlights turned on. I worked the headlight dashboard pull switch many times figuring that it might just be some corosion internal to the switch. No luck. I jiggled the wires going to the switch with no luck. Parking lights, tail lights, all worked ok, but no headlights. I used the floor switch to turn on high beams and all four lights came on ok. I switched back to low beams and still had no lights. After I drove home with high beams on (4 miles), I pulled in the driveway and switched the floor button back to low beams, the low beams came on without a problem! Now my problem is that this appears to be a intermittant problem that I can't put a meter on unless its broken. Anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks
Lonnie
