If your looking for more power for the WDX you might consider the e49 version of the 265 cu.in. hemi inline 6 that chrysler developed and turned over to their Australian corporation. Originally developed as a truck engine the australians did some high performance modification and ended up with the world's most powerfull six cylinder engine that cranked out over 300 reliable horsepower. They are a few companies down under that speciallize in rebuilding and upgrading this engine and it would probably fit into a WDX easier than a v8
