With that year truck you should have no problem finding a tire to suit your need.
A heavy truck used mainly offroad should use as heavy duty, and as high a ply tire as your rims can stand.It was hard to beat the toughness of the 9:00x16 ND tires with 8-10ply rating where the sidewalls were about as tough as the tread. I don't know if the bogger is available in a narrower style but it is one bad aggressive tread and the swampers are good too.
